Dear Patients and Friends,

In light of all the worry about the corona virus right now, we wanted to assure you that we are still open and as of right now, it is business as usual. We want to take this opportunity to be transparent with you about our cleaning/disinfecting protocols as well as update our cancellation policy. Please read on for everything you need to know about our clinic during these times.
Cleaning Protocols:

After each patient, we use disinfecting wipes to clean all surfaces of the table, face rests, pillows, door knobs and any tools used. In order for viruses to be killed, Lysol recommends that the surface be visibly wet for 4 minutes. This generally means we use a few wipes in order to cover each surface with enough cleaner on the wipes.

Paper is changed on the face rest for each patient. The front desk, door handles, light switches and other touchable surfaces are wiped multiple times throughout the day. Dr. Finsand washes his hands between each patient.

As of now, nobody in our office has been knowingly exposed to the virus or is showing any signs or symptoms of illness. If anyone becomes ill or is exposed to the virus, appointments will be rescheduled accordingly.

If you or someone in your household have traveled out of the country within the last 3 weeks, or are experiencing signs of respiratory illness, fever or cough, please reschedule your appointment.

We urge you all to realize that this virus is going to be around for a bit and while it can be scary, life still does need to go on. We are doing everything we can to keep our clinic virus free while still operating for the sake of our patients, and we would love your cooperation in that. If you are sick, definitely cancel your appointment. If not and you haven’t been exposed, feel free to consider keeping your appointment and trusting that we are doing our part in the clinic.

If there is anything that we can do to serve you during this scary time, please reach out to us. Many of our patients have become our friends over the years and we hate to see anyone go without necessities. Reach out to us. We strongly believe that we can get through this as a community. I read something the other day that said to temper fear with reason and panic with patience.

With love (and clean hands),

Finsand Chiropractic Team
